Flower (n.): A part of a plant’s anatomy, the flower is the reproductive organ of a seed plant. Flowers consist of stamens and carpels surrounded by petals and sepals. The flower as a whole is colorful to attract animals, such as birds and bees, to pollinate them and reproduce.
